Impending DMP

Hello folks, I have around 58,000 in unsecured debt that has just got too much to handle. I work full time and am a single parent to 3 youngish children. The house has circa 100,000 of equity but the ex (whom I divorced) is still on the deeds and just cannot be shifted without incurring huge legal fees (I've already spent 20,000+). CCCS have set up a budget for me that leaves around 400 to pay off creditors, they sent me a copy (with all the other blurb) and an authorisation form for them to act on my behalf. Reading it, it seemed a well defined process until I got to the latter pages. Which mentions CCJ's, bailiffs, etc etc. plus creditors aren't legally obliged to 'co-operate'. In practice, if someone is willing to pay, (albeit at a rate far less than contractual terms) are these dmp things OK. I'm worried.
thanks in advance.

    Hi :)

I'm on a DMP and I have found that yes, I have got defaults etc. but really the creditors are beginning to eventually accept that I can only pay them a certain amount no matter what they threaten. I have found CCCS really helpful - perhaps you could ring them again and just go through your concerns again? I know it's scary, but this is the first step to getting it all sorted :)

Good luck - let us know how you get on.
