The odds on winning the competitions where you choose 3 numbers are EXTREME, I can't remember the exact numbers but they have been posted here before (someone may come along with the numbers
)

Unlike say the "click to wins" or "mag dailies" where the prizes will be won, if no one matches the 3 numbers before the competition closes the prize goes unclaimed.
As mentioned the odds are extremely long even for relatively small prizes, one at the moment for a "Sony DSCW800 digital compact camera" has odds of approx 400,000 to 1.0 -
