I have been contacted by Consumer Wealth (FCA no.667910) offering a free pension review service. No doubt they have a motive to advise alternative investment?
Are any of you aware of this company and are their motives in my interest?

You already know their motives. Advisers aren't allowed to cold call. Don't do business with firms that start the relationship by acting improperly, that tells you all you need to know about what to expect from them later.
It's unlikely to really be them. More likely is that it is a lead generation cold calling business that is paid by them to find customers. Next most likely is that it's nothing to do with them and just a fraudster using their details.0 -

There is no such thing as a free pension review service. These are generally thought to be scams (as most of them have been)
Here are warnings from the various bodies:
FCA: https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/pension-review-scams
Money advice service: https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en/articles/how-to-spot-a-pension-scam
Pensionwise: https://www.pensionwise.gov.uk/scams
HMG: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/pension-scams
Genuine regulated firms do not cold call on pensions. In fact, the Govt is in progress of banning cold calling on pensions to stop these scammers.
This company has come up before on this site. it appears that it is a company that is set up to receive leads from a number of different cold calling sources. Last time it was Pension safe (unregulated). Another website indicates that Assured Pensions (unregulated) is also referring to them.
Not just on thread linked by Malthusian but on this one too: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=71657546I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
