Starting process of removing ex from mortgage but do not know where he is living now

Hello,

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Me and my ex husband separated 3yrs ago and divorced 2yrs ago.
I have stayed in the house with our 3 kids that is a joint mortgage. I have paid every mortgage payment since we separated.
I am starting to look into the process of having remortgaging with the same lender so the house is in my sole name. I am worried about the process though as for the past two years I have no idea where my ex husband is resding, neither do his family. A lot of mental health issues arose with him when we separated - he took overdose and steroids and I had police at my door several times regarding him and public order offences. He has abandoned his family including our 3 kids, I had to fight through CSA for maintenance. It's been a very tough time!
I want to have the house in my name as soon as I can, I have debt letters and calls for my ex come to my house still and worried about them coming after the house.
What route can I legally go down if I am unable to have him sign over the house if I don't know where he lives?

Are you still receiving csa payments? Can you ask them?

Yes still receiving payments. No they won't give me any of his details due to data protection

I think they can pass on mail.

Otherwise, get a tracing agent to try finding him.
