To celebrate Mega Week and the fact that you could win £1M and the ultimate Hawaiian adventure TONIGHT, we're giving one of you the chance to WIN your own helicopter experience!!

Terms

1. The February Ultimate Helicopter Experience Mega Week competition (the “Competition”) is run by Camelot UK Lotteries Limited (“Promoter”) with assistance from NDL Group Limited (“NDL”) and PromoVeritas Limited (“PromoVeritas”) and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook. By entering the Competition, all entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will not be valid.
2. The Competition is open to UK and Isle of Man residents aged 18 or over, excluding individuals named on the Gambling Commission’s National Lottery prohibited play list, employees or agents (or any immediate dependent family of those employees or agents) of the Camelot Group of Companies* (“Camelot”) or any of their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, key subcontractors (including, without limitation, employees of NDL and PromoVeritas) or any other person(s) connected with the Competition.
3. The Competition is free to enter, however each entrant must ensure that they have internet access and a valid Facebook account.
4. The Competition will open at 12:00pm on Tuesday 21st February 2017 and close at 20:00 on Tuesday 21st February 2017 (the “Competition Period”).
5. The Competition will take place on The National Lottery’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TheNationalLotteryUK). To enter the Competition, each entrant must, during the Competition Period:
a. Like The National Lottery Facebook page (including during the Entry Period);
b. View the Competition video posted by the National Lottery at around 12.00pm on Tuesday 21st February 2017 on The National Lottery Facebook page (estimated timings, subject to delay);
c. Follow the instructions in the Competition video and take a screenshot when you see the gold star; and
d. Comment in the Competition post with the image of the screenshot of the gold star.
6. Entries into the Competition are limited to one per person – if an entrant submits more than one entry, only that entrant’s first entry will be accepted
7. Entrants must not submit an entry or have content on that entrant’s social media channels which the Promoter deems is or contains any of the following:
• viruses or other malicious code;
• content that incites violence, hatred or any illegal activity or that is threatening or harassing or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence; or
• any other offensive, defamatory, obscene or indecent content or content that is capable of being resolved into such content.
If such content is contained in an entrant's comment or in content on that entrant's social media channels, that entrant's entry will not be valid.
8. Once the Competition Period ends, all valid entries into the Competition will be entered into a random draw (the “Draw”). The Draw will be supervised by PromoVeritas, the independent prize draw adjudicator. The Draw will take place on Wednesday 22nd February 2017 and the winner will be announced the same day.
9. There will be one (1) winner of the Competition. The winner will win the Ultimate Helicopter Experience, as described in paragraph 10 below. The winner of the Competition will be the first entrant selected at random from all valid entries into the Draw.
10. The Prize:
There is one (1) prize available. The prize will be fulfilled by NDL in line with paragraph 12 below.
The Prize:
• Return travel expenses for two people
• Helicopter ride for two people
Prize specific conditions:
• Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holidays.
• Travel will be in the form of petrol allowance. Should the winner not drive, alternative transportation arrangements will be made using public transport where possible.
• Duration of helicopter flight will vary depending on location and is subject to availability. There are a number of UK based locations which the winner will be able to choose from (list below). You may fly with other members of the public. Maximum seat weight limit is 18 stone, passengers must buy another seat if over 18 stone and must be able to wear the seat belt fitted to the aircraft. This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. Itis crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions. If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue. Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
• Minimum age is 16 years and anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
• The following locations are available for the helicopter experience:
o Lanarkshire, Cumberland
o Surrey, Woking
o Manchester
o Warwickshire, Stratford–upon–Avon
o Middlesex, Denham
o Gloucestershire, Cheltenham
o Hampshire, Andover
• All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of NDL’s initial correspondence with them.
• The terms and conditions of the provider may also apply to the prize, which the winner is responsible for checking and complying with those terms and conditions.
11. The winners and the prize they have won will be announced on The National Lottery Facebook page (facebook.com/TheNationalLotteryUK) on Wednesday 22nd February 2017 via a comment on the winner’s entry post. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees that if they win, their Facebook username together with the prize they have won and their winning entry may be announced to the public as a winner by the Promoter on https://www.facebook.com/TheNationalLotteryUK.
12. Due the nature of the Competition and the fact that full personal details are not captured from entrants, the winners will not be contacted directly to confirm that they have won the Competition. Each winner is required to check the announcement referred to in paragraph 11 above to check whether they have won. In order to claim their prize each winner will be required to send an email to the Promoter’s social media team at socialteam@camelotgroup.co.uk within seven (7) days of the date of the announcement referred to in paragraph 11 above. In that email the winner should provide their full name, age, phone number and residential address (photographic proof of identity, age and residence must be provided with that email). Once these details have been provided, contact information of the winner will be provided to NDL and they will contact the winner to fulfil the prize.
13. By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge and accept that entries will be available for public viewing on Facebook and that their name may also be used by the Promoter on The National Lottery’s Facebook page. Entrants who do not want their information to be used in this way should not enter the Competition
14. The Promoter reserves its right to redraw the prize (and reclaim the prize if it has already been awarded) and award it to another entrant if the winner: cannot be contacted and/or does not provide the information requested in paragraph 12 above within seven (7) days of the winner being announced, advises the Promoter that they cannot or do not wish to take the prize, or is subsequently found not to have been entitled to win the prize.
15. By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter, NDL and PromoVeritas and not to Facebook. Accordingly, entrants hereby release Facebook from any liability in relation to the Competition.
16. All personal data collected will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal data will only be used and processed for the purposes of the Competition.
17. The surname and county of the winner can be obtained for up to one month after the end of the Competition Period by writing to Social Media Promotions at the following address: Social Media Team, Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, 5 Brettenham House, London WC2E 7EN. By entering the Competition, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that this information will be available to anyone who makes a request.
18. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered.
19. The Competition is not a game forming part of The National Lottery.
20. The Promoter accepts no liability or responsibility of any nature for any system failure or other action or event which prevents a person either from entering the Competition (including if The National Lottery Facebook Page is unavailable at any time or for any reason), or in relation to the taking of the prize or the availability of the prize to the extent permitted by law. In addition, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for prizes lost or delayed in transmission or post.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or vary the Competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving notice on The National Lottery Facebook page.
22. The prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative is available. However, if the prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value, the value of which will be determined by the Promoter, at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
23. This competition is governed by the English Law and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
