Morrisons Beetroot - sliced or crinkle

Options
I have photos to prove what I'm about to say, but MSE doesn't allow uploading photos.

In my local Morrisons (I don't know about any other stores) there are the usual Morrisons brand beetroot.

I am referring to the large jars.
There are 2 different ones. Crinkle cut, and sliced cut.
Apart from that difference, there is no different in weights, before and after being drained. (According to the labels on the jars.)

However, the prices are;
Crinkle - £1
Sliced - £1.10

Which jar would you choose?

You can upload photos, you need to use something like flickr or an image hosting site.

I buy on price - it'd be the crinkle cut for me. It's good they're different prices, I'd spend ages trying to choose which to buy if they were the same price... and, even when I'd decided, I'd fret and think I'd made the wrong choice, so never enjoy it :)

When I put the same question to others, they same the same thing. They'll buy the crinkle cut.

Personally if about price, the crinkle.

But I have found that the crinkly beetroot seems to be more bitty and has alot of bits in the bottom.

So for good usuable product, I would buy the sliced.

Crinkle cut for me. Although weighing the same, they have a greater surface area and would help in the tasting process.

I only buy jars when its a very good offer and then only baby beetroot.

My preference is for the vacuum packed and I stocked up when they were on Super 6 in Aldi.

Just checked my supermarket and Sainsbury's is cheaper (about 80p per kg) for own brand baby beetroot than slices or crinkled! For that difference in price I'll happily cut them up myself!

Sadly I wouldn't dare cut them myself, so I have to buy ready cut.
