Try the local city. Its a similar situation in our county. The rural/small town firms dont as its not worth the costs (historically) for the low volume. The Major town/city firms usually will.
Problem is the local city is about 100 miles away lol
No doubt will get something sorted. Thanks again for all your help as always.0 -

Well did what HapyHarry suggested and rang this morning, have found a local company and when I suggested that the permissions were not showing correctly said that it was being looked into.
Have made an appointment and the named advisor has got the CF30 which is a start.
Thank you for all the suggestions and I will update on how I got on.:beer:0 -

CF30 being the permission that all advisers need to have.
It is possible that they have a referral system in place where they pass pension transfers on to a third party.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Just a auick update, went to my first meeting this morning with a local company who have the required permissions. The advisor is a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers and did seem to know what she was talking about and there was no pressure.
I have another meeting on Monday with an advisor so will see what thY brings but at the moment I feel very comfortable with the first one but will wait and see.
Thank you all for your assistance.0
