Lump sum contributions matched by company?

If someone was to add a lump sum contribution to a company pension (Scottish Widows - up to the allowed limit) - I'm assuming that the company won't match it as they normally would match the monthly contribution coming straight from pay...
Or for the company to match it ... would we just make the additional payments straight out of salary?

All depends on the company/
If you dont say who (so others who work there can answer), you just call and ask HR yourself?0 -
Thanks Atush, I was just wondering if there was some sort of rule around this scenario.0
