Employer doesn't want to pay underpaid pay

it seems pretty standard for it to be only for current employees. you are no longer part of the company so why would you be entitled to it? at the time you worked for them, you were paid your contracted rate.
my previous company gave everyone a bonus at the end of the financial year (a very small one, something like 2% of their current wage) but only to employees who had been working there 6 months+. i had been working their 5 and a half months so was entitled to nothing sadly. sometimes these things just don't work out in your favour.CCCC #33: £42/£240

Thanks all - it just sucks that I can't get paid what I'm owed for what I worked, in line with the actual pay rates for that period, but that's just life I guess!
You were paid what you were owed for the hours, under the terms of the agreement you had at the time.
If other workers have since been given a more favourable backdated offer relating to the continuous employment, that is nothing to do with you or anyone else who resigned. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
