Fast Interview from Application

Hi All,
I'm currently job seeking and I came across a job for the first time on Monday although it had been advertised for quite some time. The closing time was 23:59 on Monday and as I came across the role very late I j just got in before the closing time.
I actually was not sure if my application got accepted as there was no confirmation received, however on Tuesday at midday I was being invited for an interview.
Is this fast turnaround normal or is it a red flag?

It could simply be a case that because you applied so late your application ended up near the top of the pile. Attend the interview and take if from there.0

If it had been advertised for a while there is a chance they may have sifted through an amount of applications already so they may have only had a handful to go through on Tuesday morning...

Not unusual at all, especially if they didn't have many applicants, or as above if they've already done some sifting.
They may just need someone quickly!
Good luck.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
