I have put in a F&F settlement figure with stepchange. Have been asked to supply a doctors letter regarding my husbands mental health status. What do i need to ask the doctor to include?

Others will hopefully be along who have more knowledge/experience than me, but for me I would ask the doctor if he/she would write a letter confirming husband's diagnosis re. mental health, medication prescribed, {if applicable} that he has been referred to the care of the mental health team, and confirm that it is a long term condition {if applicable).
I hope you have success with your F&Fs and hope your husband's health improves.DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
Hi
I think January2015 has covered it really. If your husband’s health issues mean he isn’t able to work, or restricts the amount of hours he can work, I think it’s worth adding that. If the symptoms are likely to be long term make sure that is emphasised. It should make the F+F proposal more appealing to creditors if they don’t see a viable way to recover the money for the foreseeable future.
