Tax Relief

How do I work out how much much tax relief my monthly contribution of £100 generates?
I set up a spreadsheet when I started my pension (in 2014), but have no clue how I came to the figure of £30.38 of "taxman contribution."
I have now been able to log into my pension pot account and can see the amounts that I have put in and the amounts that my boss has put it, but the pot still adds up to more which I can only assume is my tax relief?

If it's a group personal pension or a personal pension and you are a standard rate tax payer( in fact regardless of that ) then your scheme will have claimed 25% ( a quarter) of your Employee contributions. There's sometimes a slight delay in those tax reclaims.pollyanna24 wrote: »How do I work out how much much tax relief my monthly contribution of £100 generates?

Also, of course, any current valuation will include growth or shrinkage from fund investment performance.0
