Time to decision

I know these can always vary depending on circumstances but I'm wondering if any of the knowledgeable folks on here have a ballpark timescale for application being submitted to a decision being made by Newcastle BS? From older threads on here they used to be one of the slower lenders but my MA assured me they were a lot faster these days.

I submitted my application last Thursday (9th Feb) via a broker (had a DiP from the week before). I received a text message on Tue (14th Feb) to say that the valuation had been booked for this Thur (16th Feb).

I'm assuming given the speed that this particular lender arrange the valuation before even making a decision on the application? Any idea how long I'm looking at before I know the result? 2 weeks, a month, a few days?
