Hi
We have just completed a new house build value £400k no mortgage. Along the way my partner and I have built up debt on credit cards and loans
My partners income is £60k per annum. I was made redundant last year and have since gone into a lower paid job whilst bringing up a young family £10k per annum
We have accumulated debt of £90k, I have had late payments on some of my credit cards and realise that the debt in my sole name is way beyond my annual income now.
Will a mortgage company lend to us ?

You need to be more specific for any meaningful feedback
When do you want them to lend to you (any timescale)?
How much do you want to borrow?
Are you paying off the CC debt?
Or is your question a more general..are we untouchable for ever more?0 -
I don't think you'll be able to get accurate answers here.
You need copies of all of your credit files and you should then speak to a good mortgage broker.
There will almost certainly be options for you. Good luck and try not to worry too much. There is a way out :-)0 -
Sorry, first time on the forum
We are looking to borrow £90000 to clear credit cards and a loan. All of my husbands credit card payments are up to date. My credit cards are up to date however I have been late on paying a couple of them I am paying just the minimum payment .
My experian score is 977 but my noodle is 2/5
I also took out a payday loan in 2015 but all paid off0
