Does your comping routine make a difference?

Hi

Just curious about everyone's routines. Are you an end dater or a enter as posted doer? Have you ever done both and decided one routine is better? I used to be an end dater back in 2012 and won loads but I can't do that now due to working full time. I barely win now and I wonder if that's why??

I just enter & forget, generally as they are posted but sometimes via the "most popular" sort tool.
I probably win less compared to 2012 as more are comping & there appears to be less comps.

I think less wins is more likely down to the changes in comping over the years... more ppl doing it, 1000's more entries due to social media..

i've done both, end date and as posted... I do a bit of both now, I try and do them as posted so I don't miss any that may end early or need early entry to benefit.

End date was a pain at the end of the month, I found myself skipping comps as theres just so many to get through... because I have children theres loads for me to enter. By the time I get to the end of the month now I've entered most of them already (the ones I want anyway)

I did try entering twitter comps just before they end as I never win on there but it didn't make a difference. Same with FB i'm just unlucky when it comes to those competitions, focus most of my attention on other comps now.

I would probably win more if I wasn't on here being a chatterbox so much :rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I find end dating horribly stressful, like there's always a deadline to be met. I can easily forget that they are only competitions and heads won't roll if I miss some! I do them each day as they are listed, checking a couple of times a day, usually at lunchtime and again in the evening. If I'm rushed or tired or just can't be bothered I whizz through, crossing those I'm not interested in and bookmarking any I fancy to enter later. I definitely enter more this way. I don't seem to win any extra but feel much more relaxed doing it this way and have time to do dailies and c2ws on top.
