What have you already bought for next Christmas?

We may only be a couple of months into the year, but some MoneySavers have already been piling January sales goods into the back cupboard ready for next Christmas. Where do you stand?

Which of these items have you already bought for next Christmas? Choose as many as are applicable.

Enough cards, wrapping paper and tags for several years I'd say! Few presents for adults also, but not everything. Decorations are rarely purchased, perhaps something new every couple of years.

Expiry dates on a lot of food and drink seem to have declined such that anything bought now would be out of date before Christmas.

I don't buy Christmas clothing every year and have accumulated enough jumpers over the past few years that I shouldn't buy any this year.

Those Lindor (chocolate) that are wrapped like an old-fashioned sweet: they're round (spherical), and have a twisted wrapping, so are a ball with wings, in effect. Usually sold in small tall cardboard boxes with a few in. Around Christmas, they sell ones in a giant sweetie - actually formed using a plastic bowl (which is usable afterwards).

This isn't really a moneysaving exercise - I just wanted to get one for my friend's birthday, but they only sell them around Christmas; the rest of the time it's just the cardboard boxes, which are boring and as expensive as any other box of chocolates.
