more facebook comps

i have just returned to comping after a bit of an absence and i find it is very hard to win a facebook competition due to the high volume of people on facebook who are not compers but decide to enter so i only enter something if it is for a really big prize. however on going through the MSE threads I find that the majority of competitions now seem to be facebook or twitter based. Am I right in thinking this or have I just browsed at a time where these are just being uploaded as I tend to work by what has been added daily.
Just about to give up!

Think you probably just looked at the wrong time, there are a lot more Facebook comps "these days", but Daphne went on a bit of a FB rampage the other day and added hundreds
