Yes, if the extra commute time was the only difference I would take it.0

15 minutes isn't a lot. If it was adding an extra hour to each morning and evening, i'd think twice.0

Hmm I am thinking of taking it, it will take me from 30 min commute to 45 min commute each way0

30 mins a day - about 130 hours a year. You would be paid about £50 an hour for the extra commuting. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Yep! 15 mins is nothing for quite a decent pay rise.0

It would be more dependant on the actual job content than the pay rise. I never accepted a job based purely on the salary.0

The OP hasn't said what the job is but normally when you get an extra £7,000 a year you're being paid that for taking on extra responsibility, carrying out duties that require more experience, etc etc. If the OP moved next door to the office he'd get the same salary. Regardless of how long it is, the OP's doing the commute for free.
For me it depends how long the commute is to start with. If it's 15 minutes long then I'd have no qualms about a 30 minute commute. If it's 5 minutes I'd actually prefer the new 20 minute commute (I once lived down the road from the office and it felt too close to home). If I'm already commuting an hour... then I'd still take it but I'd already be looking at moving house (or moving job).0 -
Yes yes yes yes0

I would love such a short commute.0

If anything, I'd say its worth taking as you can't always bank on your current work being located where it is.
It's part of my contract that I accept my company can relocate to anywhere within Greater London, so some places it could relocate to could add an extra hour on my commute.
Saying that, given I currently work in the hustle and bustle of Central London which is the best place to work in my opinion, it would take quite something for me to take a job on an industrial estate deep in suburbia.0
