Re-mortage

If you are re mortgaging with the same company, do you have to go through the process to apply or is it a simple process?
When we came to the end of the 3 year term we simply had to choose what we wanted to do without hassle, would a re-mortage to bring cash out of the house be the same process or would they insist on going through all our finances again?

People don't know what they want until you show them.

If you just want to do a product switch - i.e. No changes to the term of loan or amount, then you can usually simply do this yourself online.
From what it sounds like though, you want to change the mortgage and increase your borrowing so you would need to speak to your mortgage company about their procedure about this. I would have thought they would probably have to reassess you for any increase borrowing.0 -
