Following this post and eondering now if I should self manage it go with step charity?
Details
50k unsecured debt - credit card/loans/overdraft.
Mortgage approx 93k. House value 160k.
Just missed 2 cc payments this month. Best course of action please?
Confused about whether or not to make token £1 payments and also read about taking out now from cc's what u may need in emergency (??). Could self manage...just wondering best approach...
Can we freeze interest/negotiate rate please? Or...??
Was managing the debt as mostly 0%deals...money transfer/balance transfers....but few have come to end of term and credit rating gone down so no new offers. Hub had accident(self empl) which left him out of work for 4 months...and so the spiral has started. Missed 2ccs this month.
Any advice much appreciated?
Many thanks

Hello, I've seen you post a couple of times today as you are now in the right place! I am by no means an expert on debt management, but the are a lot of people here who are and I'm sure they'll be along to help you soon! In the meantime, can you do a statement of affairs so that you and others can get a clear picture? I will find the link and post it below. All the best.0

Your credit rating is by no means linked to financial products, no 1 else can see it.
Complete an SOA.
No harm in asking you can freeze the interest, the worse they will say is no.0 -

And you need to click on the button that says format for MSE. Hope that helps!0
