I presume you've considered local authority language classes? If not, worth a look. Virtually all of them run French for beginners at various times of the day, including some weekends/short intensive courses.
Otherwise how about French conversation with a French speaker who wants to learn English? Obvious candidate is an au pair - you have half an hour talking French then half an hour talking English, or however you want to play it.
Also worth seeing what courses your local library has on CD/DVD.0 -
There's something in our area called LETS - it's about swapping skills - you might get French lessons in exchange for baby sitting etc.
Ask in your local library, I think that's where I first saw mention of it. There mght be something similar in your area.

Somebody I know exchanged dog walking and did the person's ironing in exchange!
When I lived in a university town there were always notices on the local library notice board asking for help with English in exchange for conversational French, German, etc., etc.
Lots of books here - if you dn't have a Kinde you can download the Kindle App so you can read on a tablet https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_nr_n_1?sf=qz&fst=as%3Aoff&rh=n%3A341677031%2Cn%3A341689031%2Cn%3A4219685031%2Cn%3A4219686031%2Ck%3Afree+kindle+books%2Cp_36%3A-0&keywords=free+kindle+books&ie=UTF8&qid=1486893944&rnid=3416780310 -
I work in a public library and agree with the suggestion of trying there.
Its also worth looking at free courses on Coursera, EdX and FutureLearn. I don't know what French courses are running at the moment, but those they offer often get good reviews. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I use Duolingo and it's really good, it keeps on top of how strong you are in certain areas and if you don't keep practicing them your strength goes down.
There's also a huge community who discusses other possible solutions or why certain phrases are wrong based on sentence structure and grammar.
There's also a section were you can write articles in another language or edit someones work helping them learn. The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today0
