Company Name Change

Hi,
The company has gone through a name change and will go through a further one. it will be easier to explain if I give the actual company names.
So, I worked for HPE but the part of HPE I work for has temporarily become (at least in name on my payslip and bank statements) EntServ. The change occurred in December. As the payslips are online only and (it seems) dynamically generated, all payslips actually have both company names up until December 2016, when the HPE part was removed from them. Any time soon, the "merger" between EntServ and CSC will happen and then there will be another company name. I am concerned about all these changes negatively affecting my mortgage application due to the inconsistencies.
Thank you all.

There shouldn't be any negative impact on you for this as you have an understandable explanation.
Has your contract changed at all with this switch?I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.

Hi David. Thank you for your reply.

No, my contract [terms] remains the same. However, my paper contract does not reflect the company name (it was HP at the time, they seem to love spins, merge, name changes, etc) and a different position plus salary (but the terms remain the same).0 -
When you apply make sure to tell the lender/broker upfront so that they can knock the issue on the head early on.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.

Thanks for the heads-up, OP. We've only just changed references of HPE on our supplier system to EntServ; I'll keep an eye out for the merge into CSC. Official letters never seem to reach our background department, but we need to know!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Thank you, David. I will.
We usually get our updates from The Register first and the company second.Tigsteroonie wrote: »Thanks for the heads-up, OP. Made no difference to me when I changed from working for EDS to working for HP when they 'merged'0

We did start setting up alerts with the Register but with thousands of suppliers it became unmanageable!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
