Free Security Toy

Options
Hi

Not used to posting here so if this goes astray - sorry ;)

I'm in IT security and occassionally visit this site - I noticed they have a free/evaluation item which I have used before - and is very good.

http://www.secureit-online.com/etoken-giveaway.php

If you are in business, and stopping people accessing information they shouldn't is of interest then I recommend you apply for one of these kits as they are currently free (saving some silly amount of money) - and I can't see a cut off date either - so hopefully there should be no trouble getting one.

I just requested one myself and it all seemed to work fine - so my kit should be with me within 28 days - oooh!

Cheers

Be very very careful. Soemthing that stores your passwords and bank details online... that you plug into your computer.. for free...

looks like it has software to capture all your information and possibly upload it to some hacker... be very very careful people.

im not in buissness but can i still order 1?
  • This looks legitimate to me and very useful.

If you're worried about the security aspect or you can't get hold of one of these devices, then you can build your own equivalent on a USB stick by installing KeePass (http://keepass.info/) which is a very good free open-source password database. You can run it off a USB stick and store all your passwords there.
  • CHEERS MATE! could be handy!

It is wise to be cautious, but as I work in IT security I can confirm Aladdin is a genuine company - and one of the global leaders in this field. I am sure they are offering this to generate business or something, but it seems silly not to take advantage :)
  • Just ordered mine, Cheers, Ive used Aladdin before and had no problems, so fingers crossed, this could be a good, useful freebie

    Thanks Stuey

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
ROBOFORM, is a software download and does the same on a limited number of passwords free. I liked it so much and use it all the time so bought the software so it does this on ALL my passwords.

    Hope this helps.
