Hi, I have just received a letter through the post from Capital Resolve. They have stated that their client has directed them to offer me a settlement fee of £300 instead of the £400 that I supposedly owe. It says that their client is United Kash Ltd (Speedcredit). This baffles me as I have never had debt with speedcredit that I am aware of. Would you say this is a scam?

Capital Resolve are a UK based Debt collection agency, so its likely to be genuine.
As with any request for payment, especially for a debt you dont recognize, respond with the "provit" letter, which can be found here :
