Cheap old model Sony or new Panasonic LCD..??

Can anyone help...
I had decided that we were going to buy a Panasonic TX32LXD70 as a replacement LCD TV.

However, once I started my search for the cheapest price (£592) I discovered an old model Sony KDL32U2000U for £449.95.

Now I am undecided as the Sony is £150 cheaper and that is quite important to me as I hate getting ripped off...!! :money:

Any advise would be gratefully received....

Woolies were selling the Sony for £399.95 but were out of stock when I looked. If you do a search on the Sony model number you will find a few threads on it.

You will still have the dilema but I have today ordered the Panasonic TX32LXD70 from John Lewis in Milton Keynes for £599 including a 5 year guarantee. £799 in store but they price matched the Richer Sounds local store. Have to collect it but it's worth doing that to get the guarantee. They only price match other shops prices (not internet) for goods in stock and include any applicable delivery charges. RS price only valid til 28th!
