Thanks for the good wishes and congrats.
Cold and rainy here, such a shame, we have a beautiful park opposite the house that is really popular with young families for school holidays and weekends.
I love to see it busy -even if the large 'drum' in the under 5s playground being loudly beaten at 8.15 am is not always appreciated...
I enjoyed my chocolate and Estonian mini bacon pastie breakfast. Now musing on lunch, and trying some new shampoo I've been sent to review. Trying not to put the heating on but it's a bit chilly...!

Evening peeps. Rain went off so went with GK's egg hunting. So had a nice couple off hours with them and DIL and DS. On way home nipped in to Asda and bought some cooked chicken as could not be bothered cooking. So had a nice salad with it. Hope rain has gone off for anyone else who had it.

great idea to save cooking sometimes,
was just looking at the shopping online & it's amazing now days
what we can buy ready made etc,
sometimes very handy for just popping in microwave or oven if
we've not time or just don't feel like it :dance:

Morning everyone. Morning ff. I don't often buy ready made but it was chicken done on a spit and it was delicious. GK's are off to Edinburgh Zoo today and they are taking a picnic so have used left over chicken to make them some Bunny shaped sandwiches. Bought the cutters when son was small for making biscuits. So should give them a bit of a giggle when they open them up. DS is picking them up on the way. No rain here this morning and it looks quite bright outside so hopefully it will stay dry for them. Hope everyone is well

The sun is out here today! Last 2 days have been really showery so fingers crossed it stays out. Hope it dries up for you FF.
Our town has been mobbed with visitors probably worse as the weather hasn't been good.

Hope your gks enjoy the zoo rose. Long time since I have been to the Edinburgh one. Have been to Blackpool one a few times in last few years as we got tickets with Tesco Vouchers. Sandwiches sound fun.

shiels DS is a member of the Zoological Society and lives just along from the zoo. So they are picking up her membership so they can get cheaper entrance. Bit naughty but the entrance is quite pricey these days.

Good morning. Another wet day here again,, yesterday we had some really heavy rain when I was taking GD for her coach back to Durham.
