Good morning everyone, its a scorcher here too this morning but not complaining.Busy day yesterday with family coming for food, the got DH a lovely bottle of his favorite Kraken rum (think thats how you spell it LOL). He also got a big bag of bird seed as he has really got into feeding and watching them now with as many as 6 finches on the feeders at a time, not forgetting the other birds and of course the squids. We even have a baby squid that comes on the window Sill.

I do hope all our birthday girls had a wonderful day yesterday and had lots of pressies and cards.

Just posting GD came now all gone! Try again.
Great day yesterday thanks for all best wishes and pics also chocolate cake. We did have some and sone vino in the evening in the garden.

Six year old Gs was in a musical performance of groups from different school's after school drama groups. The whole thing is run by I think former Eastenders actor. What with lunch time traffic and shoppers it took us 85 minutes to do a 20 minute journey for 1.30 fortunately we left at 12and the theatre had air conditioning. GS's school did sketches from Annie. Other Two GKs waved like mad when they were on and in last sketch he had a broad grin when he spotted them.

Day went very quickly.

Well done on book win yesterday Firefly, great to arrive on your birthday.

Sadly yet another horrendous 'event' overnight - North
London. :sad:

Once again ..... my thoughts and prayers are with the
innocent victims, their families and the emergency
services.


Phew! It's another awfully hot day here - shan't be
doing much of anything - just keeping cool and
drinking plenty of water today.

Hi everyone, a scorcher here too, trouble is we are not used to it LOL.

Well done on your win firefly, I also received the same but x 2 for some reason. Please let me know if you find out where it came from.

DH had a lovely Father's day yesterday with some nice pressies too. Also we got took to Beefeater which was a nice treat for us. Hope everyone else had a good day.
