Morning,sunny start to the day here but may have rain later. I am off to pick up sons GF from her night shift in a minute. I'm working a late today and as i did most of my shopping yesterday, can relax till i go to work. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Good morning all, nice to have slept in our own bed again. Looks like we are going to get rain today. GD went off to Spain with school at midnight so waiting to here if she has arrived OK, she will be have been travelling all night as they were off to Stanstead airport and flying 7.00 am this morning and the school have booked a trip to a Museum as soon as they arrive so she is going to be well tired.

Well yesterday was a very odd day and lucky day here. It was very hot and muggy and DG didn't want to do anything I suggested. It rained cats and dogs late afternoon but didn't clear the air.

It was my luckiest for number of wins I'm still in shock. In the morning there was another Goodreads win. Then a parcel came for eldest GS. They had sent an email a couple of weeks ago for address but didn't say what he'd won.

they are for 7+ and he's 8.

A magazine Nik Junior magazine came in the post, ideal for this GS's sister. Don't know where it came from. During the afternoon I had the following WEMs: a Height Chart would be on its way from freebiies, a children's book from an end of month post with a lot of boooks, and a voucher for a full size aftershave from Mr Hyde.

About 4.30 I was dozing off and then a phone call to say I had won

This is quite amusing as we had problems hearing the play this week and this has no speech.
