Hi all.
First post but long time reader!
just a quick question really, currently about to apply for a mortgage through Aldermore although I have copies of all 3 credit files, does anyone know for sure which one Aldermore use? My broker just asked for experian and equifax so I'm assuming it's one of them?
Just want to ensure all info on them is correct.
Thanks in advance

Thank you so much. Very helpful 0

Sorry to bother you. Do you know of any reason why they may look at one of the other CRAs? Thanks0

They would only do it in very rare circumstances, I cant recall why they would do it but the chances of it happening are pretty remote.
Have they said they will be doing that?
Aldermore are alright, I have been in to their offices a few times and met the underwriters/case processors etc. Their offices are round the corner from my house so I tend to meet my account there for a brew every now and again.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. No,no reason at all. Just don't want to spend money on a membership for them all if I can help it!
Thanks for that though.
Really hoping they can help in my situation! Fingers crossed.0 -
You don't have to spend money on membership with the credit reference agencies.
By law each has to provide you with a copy of your statutory credit report for a maximum of £2.
They make a good job of hiding this on this websites.
Search for 'Experian statutory credit report' or 'Equifax statutory credit report' or 'Call Credit statutory credit report'.I am a Mortgage Broker
