Defaults on Loans and on credit score

Does anyone know when a default is removed from your credit report?
Saving £12k in 2015

    It is removed 6 years from the date of the default.
    I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.
  • oh my god! nightmare. how unlikely is it i'll be offered a loan when i've got a default, do you know?

    It is not very likely you will be offered a loan, at least by the mainstream lenders. If you manage to get a loan it will probably be an adverse credit lender, that will charge a higher APR (because you are now seen as a higher risk borrower).
