Remortgaging when unemployed

Hi,
my current 2YR Fixed with Co Op comes to an end in May. Unfortunately, I have recently been made redundant and I am not clear if I will be able to re-negotiate a new fixed rate product with them - or be put on the SVR as I am unemployed? Will they ask for income details as it is same lender? Can anyone offer any insight?
thanks.

From what I've seen before here you can just do it online and go on another fixed rate with co-op, pretending you haven't been made redundant. Only becomes a problem with moving to a new providerMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
Cashback sites: £900 | £30k in 2016: £30,300 (101%)0 -
I have the very same issue with the Yorkshire Building Society. My mortgage payments are about to increase by ca. 45% [sic] as I am about to switch to SVR!0

Look on the Co-op / YBS website for new deals for existing customers !
See if you can sign up for a new deal completely online.
You must keep the same term so you cannot extend or decrease the number of years.
You cannot borrow any more money ( just the amount you already owe.
Consider carefully what you sign up too if you need to sell in a year or two.0
