Does anyone have a creditors template letter to send when struggling to make payments
I am entering a DMP however am waiting for basic bank account to be set up before sending documents
Obviously payments are due now and I want to send a template letter to creditors (credit cards) informing I am seeking assistance and am struggling to make the payments this month
Planning to send all info to step change end of this week

You write to advise them that you have contacted (insert whichever company you have gone with here) and are in the process of setting up a debt management plan. Ask them to put account on hold for 30days and that you will be in contact (or stepchange/payplan etc) will be in contact with your dmp reference and that all future dealings will be done via the dmp company£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

Do you advise sending a letter on each account
Example
HSBC over draft
HSBC loan
HSBC credit card
So three letters as above example? Sorry if this seems a silly question here0 -

Thanks . I seem to have no assistance in locating emails or address for HSBc from them. From canceling CPAs to knowing where to email regarding above. Do they purposely make this hard?0
