I recently bought a portable DVD player from ebuyer and had all sorts of problems - the main one being that, instead of a DVD player, they sent me a camera (and not a particularly good one, at that). It was a right rigmarole getting it sent back and getting a refund. And when I finally got a refund they charged me a 20% restocking fee as well!! Cheeky beggars!! Needless to say I was rather dischuffed with their service. I got the restocking fee back, but complained via their e-notes system (which they were boasting would be answered within 8 working hours). More than 8 working DAYS later, still didn't receive a reply, then a few days letter received an e-mail saying they were sorry they hadn't answered my e-note complaint, and as compensation I could ring them direct!!! Well, wasn't that nice of them.

Will not be using them again.:(

I like the idea of the 2x7" screens to keep my boys happy for the long drive down the french motorways this summer. However, it would also be nice to let them use the dvd players in their seperate tents when we get there - so the answer would be to get the seperate ones. Does anyone know whether you can link two seperate units i.e. put a DVD in one and watch it on both screens for the car journeys?
    Thanks.

That's one of the reason why Ebuyer are so bad. Sure prices are competitive but when things go wrong they usually go completly wrong.

You only have to get your fingers burnt once form them and thats enough.

I have bought quite a few items from Ebuyer and I have never had a problem (to date that is). I suppose I will carry on buying from them until something goes wrong b ut that could happen with the best of companys.
