Credit in the future

I have been idly flicking around the boards and when I look at the ones for loans and credit cards, I just go cold. I am so full of the mindset of being debt free in 44 months (snowball date), the thought of EVER going through a credit card or loan application again once I am debt free makes me feel sick.

I long for the day when the direct debits out of my bank account are just for utility bills and not for blummin' repayments for goods I can't even remember buying now!

The rush I will get seeing a savings account grow will be unbelievable. I just wish I had had my LBM years ago, what a waste of the prime years of my life spent worrying about the opening post or whether you can afford to stick on the heating.
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

  • I totally agree with your comment.

When I am debt free from loans/cards etc I will never ever go down that route again.

I can't wait to start attacking my mortgage and to have savings :D

Good money management is definately something I want to teach my children so they do not go down their same route as their parents.
