Bed from dreams

I have seen a bed I like in Dreams that is in the sale with £100 off that ends tonight. Having the space to have the boxes delivered is a bit of an issue right now so if I leave it is it likely it will be in the sale again soon? I mean are they one of those companies that has sales every time the wind changes direction like DFS? They've not been someone I've really looked at before so don't know how they operate! If so would it be soon?

I waited it out on something from Homebase going into the sale that never actually got reduced in the end due to the new management 'always low prices' thing and now it has even risen by £100, so I well and truly missed out on that, so am wary of the same happening with the bed!

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the option of buying it now and holding off on delivery for a while?

The offer has expired now according to the OP, it ended last night.

  • Dreams have a sale on every week.
I bought a mattress from them, cost me over a grand. Most uncomfortable thing in the world.
Personally I would look elsewhere, buts that's just my opinion!

I should have looked into it while I had the chance, but yes the offer has ended now. It does still have some money off but I think I'll wait and see if it goes down again soon!

Thank you, I'll play the waiting game until their next sale comes up! This is just the frame we are buying this time. It seemed a really solid build compared to the one I originally wanted after seeing it online. That one was so shoddy!
  • It does seem that most furniture retailers have sales on every week, DFS being the biggest culprit!

I personally would recommend that you wait too, I am always curious of stores that have sales on constantly and instead am a big advocate of paying a little more for a better, longer lasting 'investment'. I also read review after review after review, so if you have the time I would highly recommend you do that because then if you are faced with the difference of say £200 you may well just decide the extra stretch is well worth if in the long term.

I'm wanting to invest in one of these metal bed frames http://www.andsotobed.co.uk/beds/metal-beds.html , but held off for a while because I couldn't quite manage the original price but now they are on sale I'm so glad I waited around as I know they are worth just that little bit more!

Out of interest have you seen the price fluctuate at all?

Don't worry about waiting for the next sale - just go in and make them an offer. They might well say yes...

You are right, it does seem to be the furniture retailers mostly!

I'm still sat waiting it out :rotfl: I check every day for any extra money off it's current 'sale' price. The current deal finishes Tuesday so I will see what the offer is after that! So far the only prices I have seen it at are the January sale price (first time I saw the bed) and now this other higher but still reduced price. I would have just gone for it at this price had I not known it has been lower before. Now I don't want to buy it to find two weeks later it goes back down again. It's not a massive difference in the grand scheme of things, but I only work 1 day a week while my children are young so relative to my wage is quite a bit.

I just looked at the metal frame beds on your link, very nice!! An investment piece for sure, enjoy it when you get one :)
