You need to look out for an email from noreply@southernrailway.com. The emails have been being sent since mid-January, and Southern is in the final stages of contacting everyone it has details for.
    • If you have the email – Click the link in your email and choose how you want your compensation to be paid.

I wonder if any scamsters have jumped on that bandwagon sending out mass emails saying something like "Your Southern Refund" with a link to a similar looking site designed to fool people into handing over their bank/card details so that "southern" can action the refund?
  • Don't worry Kite2010, if the link worked and took you to a Southern Rail site that actually worked, their regular customers would spot the fake immediately - nothing IT related ever works properly at Southern Rail! We gave up trying to use 'The Key' card - it just kept failing.

And they just sent me a link to claim compensation and that is not functioning either...

My email arrived and claim went through easily. Payment was pretty quick too.
