Can't Activate D900 Voicemail

I have recorded my voicemail message onto my Samsung D900 but the voicemail just won't kick in when I can't answer the phone. Can anybody point me in the right direction please

  • what network is the phone on? If it's vodafone I think you have to dial 1211 and ring it. Then you'll get an automated message saying something about the service has been activated, then it will divert after 6 or so rings, or when the phone is switched off or out of signal. You then dial 1210 to switch it off if you want to. Any other networks I think if you go to the help section on the website it will tell you there. hth
