15 years ago we had our house repossesed
we paid £32,000 for it, with a £31,000 mortgage
we paid the mortgage (£250) for 3 years.
the building society sold it for £20K and wanted the rest off us, however they also got paid a £8K insurance in addition to the £20K the house made and our 3 yrs of payments.
they wanted £10K off us, eventually we paid around £3K to settle, but they didnt really lose a penny did they.....
