Is two VPN's one too many?

My favored browser is Opera which has the added advantage of having a VPN facility you can enable.
Along with this I've just invested in Kaspersky Internet Security 2017. Along with the Safe Money protected browser function (which for some reason doesn't work with Opera), it also has a Secure Connection component which also appears to provide VPN cover.....

So, I'm just wondering if when I'm surfing the net using Opera, do you think it's a case of "over egging the pudding" using two VPN services?
Thank you.

Why do you need a VPN?0 -
Why not a vpn, you are entitled to privacy.
Over a normal setup vpn like pia, you are able to run tor, Epic privacy browser, and I did try Opera a number of years ago and that worked too.
I think the safe browser function only works on a browser, or specific address/port, and is not a vpn in the usual sense, as in it encrypts all traffic.0 -

This ^^
If it's in browser then it's only using specific ports and it only works for traffic in that browser. Really it's a proxy service, not a VPN.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Opera vpn - browser protection only.
Kaspersky Secure Connection connects to Hotspot Shield and encrypts all traffic but is limited to 200MB of data per day. so best used only when really needed for. banking/shopping etc.
Neither has a kill switch to disconnect your activity if vpn connection fails.
No reason not to use both if you so wish.0
