County Court Judgement - Interest - Help

Hi there, any advice gratefully accepted.

Have run up a lot of debts. I did the income v outcome chart and made offers to all my creditors of 1 percent of debt. Many of the creditors have accepted this but I am having problems with 2.

One has taken me to court and got a judgement against me. I have paid them every month since I had a loss of income. The problem is they are still charging me interest on the debt, which means that the debt is getting bigger and bigger.

This is not the company that I took out the debt with, but a different company. Is there anything I can do?

The other debt is a catalogue company. Again the debt is rising quicker than I can pay it off. They wanted me to spread the debt over a longer period at a much higher cost, but because I did not do this they are not willing to negotiate. The 'longer ' payment would still have been too high for me or I probably would have done it.

Thanks for reading this far. Just one more query, I am getting bombarded with phone calls from creditors even though they know my situation. Again is there anything I can do? Any ideas would be appreciated

Many Thanks

can i ask which catalogue company it is, Has it been passed over to a debt collection agency? I've got 3 catalogues, two of then were passed to MOORCROFT debt collection and i was paying them a set amount per month. I was rqesting statement of sccounts each and every month but they never came through which really peeved me off, so i wrote to them requesting a copy of the signed credit agreement plus other info and included a cheque for a pound. Low and behold i got a letter back withingh a week stating they havemn't got the credit agreement so cannot chase the debt. Maybe worth a try for yourself?? The two debts that they cant chase add up to just under 1100 quid.

as for the other one (littlewoods) they wont pass it over because whilst i'm making reduced payments due to me being off sick, they are chargeing me admin charges. If they passed it over they'd stop...maybe i feel a request for CCA for them coming on.

sorry, i dont think i've been much help , hope you manange to get some better advice!!
