E: 08/02 Win a villa holiday for two on Corsica
Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for seven nights, on a self-catering basis, at Villa Fabrizia, a pretty stone house in southern Corsica. Set in a mix of farmland and fragrant maquis, the air-conditioned house makes the most of its elevated setting, with a huge sundeck, a private pool and a shady summer kitchen for lazy lunches. It’s only a 10-minute drive to the restaurants and bars of Figari, and 15 minutes to the nearest beach.
Villa Fabrizia is one of many chic and characterful villas in the Simpson Travel programme, which also features boutique hotels and apartments across the Mediterranean — in Greece, Turkey, France, Italy and Mallorca.
The prize includes return flights to Figari from Gatwick or Heathrow and car hire. It must be taken between May 21 and July 14 or September 1 and October 1, 2017, subject to availability and excluding public holidays.
Questions
1 What is the name of the second village?
Answer: Burgh Castle
2 Who was the saint?
Answer: Saint Fursey
