Filmed and photographed by colleague

It may be that they thought they were having a friendly joke, and didn't realise you wouldn't appreciate it. If you let them know you don't want that to happen again and weren't comfortable with it, they might not do it again. And if it happens again, take it to HR. But at least then you can say, this is not the first occasion and I asked them not to do it last time. ?0

Thanks for the replies
I was filmed whilst on my lunch break, just innocently sitting down talking to another colleague. The person that filmed me is a very immature twenty four year old.
I've never really got on with him as he is incapable of having a mature conversation. He filmed me because he thinks I look like somebody famous.
I emailed my manager when I got to work on Monday with a brief description of what had happened. When my manager arrived he called me into his office and agreed a line had been crossed.
He said the person who filmed me will be having a record of this put on to his work file. I said I was happy for it to be left at this instead of an investigation but if it happens again I'll go to HR and make a formal complaint.
I've decided to no longer have anything to do with the guy that filmed me. Even when we were on speaking terms it never went further than hello anyway0 -
Still inappropriate but doesn't sound as nasty as I thought from the earlier posts
Someone senior just needs to have a word and tell him to cut it out0 -

IMO if it happens again, report him, you dont even get on with him anyway. Also i thought that you COULD be recorded in public but your face cant be shown if you didnt give permission so it should be blurred our or something.0 -

Basically you are wrong. However as it is not relevant to this situation I see little point in taking the thread off track discussing what is an increasingly complex and evolving area of law.0
