Nationwide withdraw Flexclusive Cashback on Mortgages

Heads up - No more Flexclusive £250 cashback on mortgages for Nationwide main current account customers (separate from the cashback if you choose your own legal service instead of theirs).
V disappointed... After carefully selecting Nationwide as the best mortgage providers for us (partly based on the promise of a Flexclusive £250 cashback as we were main current account customers) we get to the end of our arrangement appointment to find that since we made the appointment it has been withdrawn... Reason given: they are looking at other benefits to replace it (but no replacement yet...)
Not impressed! Is it worth a complaint on grounds of unfairness (we may well have got it had we chosen to apply for DIP online (and therefore gone through the process quicker) or understanding that the product was "not as described" (Consumer Rights Act, 2015). Views most welcome!
