GingerSte,
Do you know anything about the proof reading? I could do that!
I bluddy hate ironing and can barely clean my own house so nix to that, lolEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Have you got any skills you can put to use like Typing, Computer repairs, Accounts ect?
I do some computer repair work and offer a PC health check like PC World but charge only £25 per PC unless parts are required. Although I dont do this all the time it does bring in a bit off extra cash (2 this month) even without advertising.
A lot of these adverts are MLM or just plain rip offs. Have you thought about trying someone like Avon or Kleneeze? I know there not exactly from home but you could make a regular income if you can build a customer base.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0 -
I get 30p per answer. I've made it my full time job since being made redundant. I did £1100 per month in June/July/August, which, with the contribution from my OH (about £70 but, it's a start), that pays the mortgage/utilities/food.
It means working a lot of hours, but the flip side is I can work exactly when I feel like it as I'm self-employed.
Although having a lazy day just means I don't get paid...........like today......whoops......
The closing date for the promotion is 1 Oct. There are 3 jobs, but I don't know if lots of the other researchers will also fancy going for them as well. Nothing to lose if I don't get one of them."Stay Wonky":D

Hey, I think this was mentioned on the other boards but how about naughty texting. I thinking it would be easier than being on the phone. It pays something like 12p a text and its all done through the computer so they never know your number.
You could do students typing or something similar.
Good luck.

Do you think I'd be any good at that? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Sorry I don't know anything about it.
I don't do ironing or cleaning either. :eek:0 -
Lenny, did your OH find a job with hours that suited?
Bunny, I sometimes do proof-reading from home, but that's for companies that I've worked for in the past so I don't know how to go about getting it starting from scratch. Sorry! It is nice work if you can get it.
What about audio typing? I've seen people mention that on here.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Would you be aby good at book- keeping? I know someone who does it & always work coming in...mystery shopping but not sure if you can make a living. What about something like tesco with flexible working or night shift? Not sure if that helps...

If you are near a University then you may be able to put up an advert saying you will proofread/type assignments. WHen I was at UNi (Part time - all of us mature students) some people did pay for this as they were working full time. Of course now a lot more people have computers at home (this was 1995/2001) but it may be worth a try.0
