    Or Standard Life which has higher charges but also has higher return.

    the Std Life SIPP has no difference in return to the HL SIPP. SIPPs are just containers for investments. The SIPP provideris just an administration platform for the tax wrapper. It doesnt make or lose anything. You can hold the same investments in most SIPPs and the returns would be identical.

    Thanks for that, I was under the impression each SIPP performed at a different level dependant on how it was managed, much like investment funds.
    I guess the lowest charges win my pension so to speak.

    Thanks to all for advice given. I am in the process of transferring my three small pensions into a 'HL' SIPP.
    Should have done it years ago !
