EnergyHelpLine have removed details of tariffs they are unable to switch you to
Many regular readers will know that I have often used EnergyHelpLine as my comparison site of choice.
I have just attempted to conduct a price comparison and it seems that EHL in their wisdom have now removed tariff details of those tariffs that they are unable to switch you to (i.e. the ones they don't get paid for!)
To clarify, they still list all tariffs (if you request that) and the anticipated annual cost, but the tariff details are no longer available that explain how that cost is arrived at. Only tariffs EHL can switch you to give the full tariff details.
Looks like I will need to find a new comparison site of choice unless EHL reverse this policy quickly. They obviously have the details because they are used them to calculate the annual cost, but they have decided to no longer display them.

It would appear EHL have since learned from the error of their ways, and now reinstated all the tariff details of all the tariffs - even the ones they cannot switch you to.
This is a welcome U-turn by this comparison site ... but I do fear the damage has now already been done0 -
Also showing the cheapest gas tariff that CEC are not even though EHL can't switch to it!0
