I love wasabi but paste costs a lot.
As mad as it sounds I love it on a portion of boiled rice so was wanting to make it into a sauce.
Best way to do this?

Horseradish has a very similar flavour - you can buy jars of cream horseradish which you could then just stir into the rice.:hello:0

It's very expensive - even a lot that say they're wasabi aren't really ... they're horseradish.
There was a small feature on this on one of those food programmes in the last 2 months, might have been Food Uncovered.0 -

I have a small tub in cupboard of that but tried paste, not sure about horseradish ad tried it years ago and hated it.0
