'Split Ticket' journey using n-Network West Midlands Train Pass?

My partner has a n-Network Network West Midlands Monthly All Zones travel pass (Bus/train/tram) which allows her to travel from Birmingham to Wolverhampton by Train. I can accompany her for £1 with a Friends and Family ticket as listed here:

Sometimes, we would like to go beyond Wolverhampton on the same train, say to Shrewsbury or Manchester. My question is, would she (and I with my £1 Friends & Family ticket) be allowed to buy the continuing ticket from Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury, making the journey in one go without getting off/changing in either direction? We would also use a Two Together Railcard to get a third off this additional ticket.
The train will stop at Wolves in all cases. I've read/heard some confusing info about this, including the idea that because the n-Network (previously Centro) is a Transport Executive/Local Authority, you cannot do this.
There are too many rules and references to others T&C's. Does anyone know for sure?

I can't see any issues as it is a simple split ticket at the boundary station (Wolverhampton).
As far as I can tell everything calls at Wolverhampton so you will be swapping from using the travel pass to the Wolverhampton -> Shrewsbury/Manchester ticket at Wolverhampton0 -

Thanks for the reply. Is this a change from past years? I'm sure I looked into this several years ago, when we were travelling to & from Manchester often, and was told I could not.
Incidentally, although not relevant to this post, I noticed that the past requirement for splitting that a train must actually stop a the boundary station, has now gone. Perhaps there used to be a block on my pass+ticket split?0 -

Condition 19 of the no longer applicable The NRCOC said:19. Using a combination of tickets
You may use two or more tickets for one journey as long as together they cover the entire journey and one of the following applies:
(a)
they are both Zonal Tickets unless special conditions prohibit their use in this way. The Ticket Seller will, if you ask, advise you whether you can use a Zonal Ticket in combination with another ticket.
(b)
the train you are in calls at a station where you change from one ticket to another; or
(c) one of the tickets is a Season Ticket (which for this purpose does not include Season Tickets or travel passes issued on behalf of a passenger transport executive or local authority) or a leisure travel pass, and the other ticket(s) is/are not.0 -

Condition 14 of the new NRCOT is no longer so restrictive.
Out of interest, when did the less restrictive Condition 14 replace the old 19 excluding PTE Passes? Just wondering how long I've been wasting money for.0
