I'm just about to place an order with them. What problems have you had?ffacoffipawb wrote: »Don't give these crooks any business.0 -

they give you the discount, then a couple of months down the line, demand it back from you. Leaving you with an item you would never have bought for the price they sell for.
I have personally not had a problem with Littlewoods, kays or GUS ( all of which are owned by the same company)
If anyone is unsure about ordering, I would advise using GUS first of all.
Use QUIDCO to get your 6% off, then use the Littlewoods codes as they all seem to work.
XX185 or XX279 should get you 10% off.
Hope this helpsHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Anybody who uses this vile company with all the problems that people here, and on Hot UK Deals have had, needs to have their heads tested.
They are even on google groups now ....

^ I feel the hate.
But you have a good point.
With all the bad publicity and the postal strike they must be suffering.0 -

If they honestly expect to send me a letter in 3 months asking for the discount to be refunded, they can see me in court.
Can you imagine walking into Tesco 1 day, to be stopped by customer services and them saying they have reviewed your club card statement and you have used coupons and vouchers which were not meant for your use, so they would like you to pay the money back ????
I THINK NOT
we are all entitled to opinions about where we shop and spend our money.
Like with anything, the saying goes; buyer beware...
I can't see Littlewoods doing anything except harming their reputation by their actions...
From my own experience I have not had a problem with this company. I could suggest though, if people have piled into these codes and bought 10 or 20 times ( using the same account name/number etc ) then they may feel a bit peeved. I still don't think they have a leg to stand on...
We may possibly see them on Watchdog if they continue

Some of these codes were "apparently" only meant for certain customers who lost out before with the company, sort of a good will gesture from littlewoods for a product with a recall or a customer complaint or something (specifics i don't know). Some codes were then leaked out via bobsfreestuff hotukdeals and mse, used by bargain hunters, (including myself) then littlewoods cottoned on and put a stop to it. To be honest with you I think it was only the £25 off £29 min that has had this problem, but I can only speak for myself.
All of what I have said here Is based on hear'say but it kinda makes sense, they made a mistake but realised and used their t&c to redeem some of their money, regardless of customer's feelings.
Only use codes if you are willing to risk ultimately spending the full amount without any discount.0
