Just had my OR interview!

Hi everyone

Wow, I am still shaking a bit (with relief). I have just come off the phone after having my OR interview. Started dead on 3pm and lasted 22 mins (Yes, I timed it - saddo!). The man, Robin, was really kind and when I told him I had almost no bank statements and stuff he said not to worry and he was VERY understanding when I explained how I just got into more debt without really realising it.

He said I was very well advised as I had organised everything like getting benefits paid into wifes account and I said I had lots of advice from this forum - he said he knew it and that it was very helpful.

He said I had nothing more to worry about and of course no IPA and he thought I would probably not hear from him again until I got my discharge which would probably be an early one.

Oh how relieved I am!! Thanks to everyone here who have given me such great support ... big hugs to all (well the females anyway! LOL):j :j :j :j

    Congratulations Gratton,

Nothing wrong with having the occasional hug with another guy.:o :o:D
  • Congratulations. I'm glad yours went ok!! Maybe we'll get our discharge at the same time too! Must have been a nightmare having to wait until 3pm.

Its amazing how spot on they are with times. My interview was for 2.30 and BANG on 2.30 he called.
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • Excellent - Well done Gratton. Really pleased it went well for you. Fingers crossed for your early discharge now then! lol
  • Well done you!

Hi Guys, we have OR interview at 10am next wednesday and its like the next milestone after actually going to court. I have to admit I am scared incase we get the dreaded IPA ( can't understand that when someone goes bankrupt that you still have a debt ?) or I have messed up the IE or SOA although everyone on here thought it was ok. I will of course report back and let you all know what happens, take care

  • So glad to hear it went well with the OR.............good luck for the future!!! :)
